Restoration Roasters

If I was to think of a coffee shop that has a passion to create great coffee, a super hipster vibe, attracts awesome people and has a heart for their own community; the first that would come to mind is Restoration Roasters in Corona, CA. Located on the campus of Crossroads Christian Church and the only Roaster in the city you might want to consider stopping by. Not just for their specialty drinks and the awesome environment but the fact that 100% of their net proceeds go directly to support the work at Orange County/Corona-Norco Rescue Mission.  A huge organization that focuses directly with the homeless in the city of Corona and Orange County. It’s a privately owned transitional shelter, that takes in those who are homeless but ready to restore their lives and the lives of their children. They have a comprehensive program that focuses on case management, mental and physical health, employment, legal issues, spiritual growth with a end goal of self sufficiency. But 80% of their finances needed is relied on donations and the rest is from grants, which is a very low amount of government funds. So all the more reason to enjoy a good cup of coffee from Restoration Roasters!

I normally stick with their pour-overs but they have a great selection to choose from whether it’s a latte, an affogato, a nitro cold brew OR if you really can’t decide you can pick a flight of cold brews. I certainly don’t recommend you tackling a flight by yourself but definitely an awesome brewery feel to try with some friends.

But as I am writing this I am enjoying for the first time their Guatemalan, San Agustin:

Ethiopian Koke 2

This San Agustin roast is pretty tasty. With a pretty impressive aroma, it carries some toffee, oranges, and caramel-like taste notes. I had to get their homemade chocolate cookie with it because it pairs so well with it!

So come and support the cause its worth it!
